Instructions
- Place roast in the slow cooker: Put the chuck roast in the crock pot or slow cooker.
- Add ingredients: Top the roast with slices of butter, sprinkle with ranch dressing mix and au jus gravy mix, and add pepperoncini peppers. You can use whole or sliced peppers. Add a splash of the pepper juice.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
