  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped white onion
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 2 cups broccoli florets, chopped small
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 1/2 cups teriyaki sauce

To Serve:

  • 4 cups cooked rice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Rice: Prepare 1 ½ cups of rice according to package instructions using a rice cooker or on the stove.
  2. Prep the Vegetables: Shred carrots, chop onion, mince garlic, and chop broccoli into bite-size pieces.
  3. Cook the Turkey Mixture: Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté garlic and onion until translucent. Add ground turkey, breaking it apart and cook until no longer pink. Add broccoli, carrots, and peas. Cover and cook until vegetables are tender.
