Ingredients
Scale
Base Mixture
- 4 ounces cream cheese – softened
- 1 cup cold milk (preferably 2%) – divided
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 (3.4-ounce) box instant cheesecake pudding mix
- 1 (8-ounce) container whipped topping (e.g., Cool Whip)
Mix-Ins
- 1 (18.71-ounce) package fun size Snickers candy bars – chopped into bite-size pieces
- 2 Granny Smith apples – cored and diced (about 3 cups)
Topping
- ¼ cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture: Beat the cream cheese in a large bowl with an electric mixer until smooth and fluffy, ensuring no lumps remain.
- Add Milk and Vanilla: Pour in ¼ cup of the cold milk and the vanilla extract. Continue beating until fully combined and creamy. Then slowly add the remaining milk in small increments while mixing continuously to avoid clumps.
- Incorporate Pudding Mix: Add the instant cheesecake pudding mix and beat the mixture for 2 minutes until it thickens to a creamy consistency.
- Fold in Whipped Topping: Gently fold the container of whipped topping into the thickened pudding mixture until well incorporated, maintaining a light and airy texture.
- Add Apples and Snickers: Fold in the chopped Granny Smith apples and bite-sized pieces of Snickers candy bars evenly throughout the mixture.
- Chill: Cover the bowl and refrigerate the salad for 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld and the texture to set.
- Serve with Caramel: Just before serving, drizzle the top of the salad with caramel sauce for added sweetness and presentation.
