Dry rub:
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Main Ingredients:
- 3 pounds baby back pork ribs
- 1/2 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup water
- Your favorite BBQ sauce, about 1 cup or to taste
Instructions
- Prepare Ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Pat dry with paper towel.
- Season Ribs: Combine dry rub ingredients and rub all over the ribs.
- Cook in Slow Cooker: Place ribs in slow cooker with onions, garlic, and water. Cook on LOW for 6 hours.
- Broil Ribs: Brush ribs with BBQ sauce and broil for 2-4 minutes until caramelized.
- Serve: Enjoy with additional BBQ sauce and onions from the slow cooker.
