- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ tsp. red chili flakes
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- ¼ cup salted butter
Instructions
- Prepare the skillet and sear steak: Heat the cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sirloin steak bites, seasoning them with salt and black pepper. Sear the steak bites on all sides until browned, about 2 minutes per batch to avoid overcrowding the pan.
- Transfer steak to slow cooker: Once the steak bites are nicely browned, transfer them to your slow cooker, setting the stage for slow cooking.
- Make the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, red chili flakes, and cornstarch until smooth and well combined.
