Description

Crispy and flavorful Garlic Parmesan Wings baked to perfection and tossed in a rich, buttery garlic-Parmesan sauce. Perfect for appetizers or game day snacks!

Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Wings:

      • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
      • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
      • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
      • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
      • 2 pounds chicken wings
      • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Sauce:

    • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
    • 3 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
    • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat an oven to 400℉. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack over the top, then set aside.
  2. Prepare the Wings: In a small bowl, mix together the kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel, then evenly season all over with the prepared spice mixture.
  3. Spread and Drizzle: Spread the wings out evenly on the wire rack, ensuring they’re not crowded so air can circulate between them. Drizzle the olive oil over the wings.
  4. Bake the Wings: Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, until they are fully cooked and start to turn crispy.
  5. Prepare the Sauce: While the wings are cooking, heat the butter over medium heat until just melted. Remove from heat, then stir in the minced garlic, chopped chives, and ¼ cup of Parmesan cheese to create a flavorful sauce.
  6. Toss and Serve: Once the wings are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl and toss with the prepared sauce. Serve immediately, garnished with the remaining Parmesan cheese.

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, you can broil them for 2–3 minutes at the end of baking, but watch carefully to avoid burning.
  • Ensure the wings are dried with a paper towel before seasoning to help them crisp up better in the oven.
  • You can adjust the garlic or Parmesan quantity to suit your taste preferences.
  • These wings are best served fresh but can be reheated in the oven for a crispier texture.
