Description

This Easy Homemade Buffalo Sauce is the perfect blend of spicy and tangy flavors. Made with just a handful of ingredients, this sauce comes together in minutes and adds a kick to all your favorite dishes, from wings to dips. Whether cooked on the stovetop or quickly mixed together, it’s a versatile staple for every kitchen.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 3/4 cup Frank’s Red Hot Original Sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter or ghee
  • 1/2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Stovetop Method
In a small pot, combine Frank’s Red Hot Original Sauce, butter or ghee, apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper, and minced garlic. Place the pot on medium heat and let it simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes. Cook until the butter is fully melted and the mixture is warmed through.
  2. No-Cook Method
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter or ghee. Once melted, add Frank’s Red Hot Original Sauce, apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper, and minced garlic. Stir well to combine the ingredients and form a smooth sauce.

Notes

  • Use unsalted butter if you prefer to control the saltiness of your sauce.
  • If you want a milder sauce, reduce the amount of cayenne pepper to your taste.
  • This sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Warm it before serving if needed.
  • Pair this sauce with chicken wings, cauliflower bites, or even drizzle it on pizza or sandwiches for an extra kick.
