Ingredients
Scale
Eggs
- 6 large eggs
Filling
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 ½ teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Garnish
- Fresh dill (optional)
Instructions
- Boil the eggs: Place the six large eggs in a saucepan and cover with water by at least an inch. Bring to a rolling boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pot, turn off the heat, and let the eggs sit for 12-14 minutes to achieve perfect hard-boiled eggs.
- Cool and peel: Drain the hot water and immediately transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop cooking and cool them for about 10 minutes. Once cool, gently peel the eggs, rinsing under cold water to remove any small shell pieces.
- Prepare the filling: Slice the peeled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks, placing them in a mixing bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork until crumbly. Add 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 ½ teaspoons apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard, ¼ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, and ¼ teaspoon salt. Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy.
- Fill the egg whites: Using a spoon or piping bag, fill the hollowed-out egg white halves evenly with the yolk mixture, creating a neat mound on each egg.
- Garnish and serve: Optionally garnish each deviled egg with fresh dill for added flavor and visual appeal. Serve chilled or refrigerate until ready to serve.
