- 2-3 cups m&m’s
Chocolate Coating
- 24 oz White Chocolate (plus an extra 4-8 oz if needed)
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, add the Cheerios, Rice Chex, Wheat Chex, Corn Chex, Pretzel Sticks, and m&m’s. Gently mix them together to ensure an even distribution of all components.
- Melt White Chocolate: Set up a double boiler and melt the white chocolate according to package instructions until smooth and fully melted. Stir occasionally to avoid burning.
- Coat Mix with Chocolate: Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the cereal and pretzel mixture. Using a wooden spoon or your hands, gently toss and mix everything to make sure each piece is coated thoroughly. If some pieces remain uncovered, melt the extra white chocolate and add as needed.
- Set and Harden: Spread the chocolate-covered mix evenly on a large sheet of parchment or wax paper. Allow it to dry and harden at room temperature for about 1 hour.
- Break and Store: Once fully hardened, break the mix into medium-sized pieces. Store the Chex Christmas Mix in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer to maintain freshness and crispness.
