Description

These Burger Bowls are a deconstructed take on a classic burger, served with a flavorful sauce and crispy sweet potato fries. A low-carb and satisfying meal that’s easy to customize to your preferences.

Main Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 1lb ground beef
  • 10 oz romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 3 roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup pickles, diced if desired
  • 1 cup shredded yellow cheddar cheese

Sweet Potatoes:

  • 2 sweet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp oil

Sauce:

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare sweet potatoes: Preheat oven to 425F. Cut sweet potatoes into strips, toss with olive oil, and bake for 40 minutes.
  2. Cook the beef: Sauté onions, add ground beef, and cook until browned.
  3. Assemble the bowls: Divide lettuce, meat, tomatoes, pickles, and cheese into three bowls.
  4. Prepare the sauce: Whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  5. Finalize the bowls: Add sweet potatoes to each bowl and drizzle with sauce.
