Description

A delicious and easy Shrimp Caesar Salad recipe that combines perfectly seasoned shrimp with a creamy Greek yogurt Caesar dressing. This salad is a great option for a light and refreshing meal.

For the shrimp

  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil, to cook the shrimp

For the salad

  • 2/3 cup greek yogurt
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • Romaine lettuce
  • Parmesan cheese, to garnish, optional

Instructions

  1. If you haven’t already, peel and devein the shrimp and place them in a separate bowl. 1 lb raw shrimp
  2. In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, thyme, cumin, sea salt, onion powder, and black pepper. Set aside. 2 ½ teaspoon paprika, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon thyme, ½ teaspoon cumin, ½ teaspoon sea salt, ¼ teaspoon onion powder, ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  3. Sprinkle the seasonings over the shrimp and toss well to coat.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook seasoned shrimp for 1-2 minutes until light pink, then flip and cook for another minute until fully pink. Transfer shrimp to a bowl. Olive oil

In a bowl, mix greek yogurt, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and sea salt for the dressing. ⅔ cup greek yogurt, ½ lemon juiced, 1 ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  6. Toss romaine lettuce with the Caesar dressing in a large bowl. Romaine lettuce
  7. Chill dressed salad in the fridge for at least 5 minutes.
  8. When ready to serve, top salad with blackened shrimp and Parmesan before enjoying! Parmesan cheese

Notes

  • Store leftover shrimp in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave.
  • Caesar dressing can be refrigerated for up to a week.
