Crumble:
- 60 grams unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup powdered jaggery
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 5 tablespoon whole wheat flour
- 4 tablespoon oats
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Other Ingredients:
- 3 bananas (I used Dole)
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter (for coating the ramekins)
- 80 grams dark chocolate
- 5 scoops Vanilla ice cream (for serving)
Instructions
- Prepare Ramekins: Grease 5 ramekins with butter and preheat the oven to 190°C.
- Make Crumble: In a large bowl, combine butter, oats, flour, 5 tablespoons of jaggery, walnuts, and cinnamon powder to form a clumpy mixture.
- Prepare Bananas: Peel and chop the bananas into round slices. Layer 5-8 slices in each ramekin.
- Add Jaggery and Crumble: Divide the remaining jaggery among the ramekins, then top with the crumble mixture.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove, top with chopped chocolate, and bake for an additional 6 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
- You can customize the crumble by adding your favorite nuts or seeds.
- Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of jaggery used.
