- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails removed
Instructions
- Prepare the seasoning mix: Whisk together Italian seasoning, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder in a small bowl. Stir in the minced garlic to combine all the spices evenly.
- Season the shrimp: Ensure the shrimp are peeled, deveined, and tails removed. Toss the shrimp with olive oil and the prepared seasoning mix until evenly coated.
- Air fry the shrimp: Arrange the seasoned shrimp in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 400°F and cook for 4 minutes.
- Check and finish cooking: After 4 minutes, check the shrimp. If they are not fully cooked, gently shake the basket and continue cooking. The total cook time ranges from 4 to 8 minutes depending on shrimp size. Shrimp is done when it is pink on both sides and curls into a gentle “C” shape.
- Serve immediately: Remove the shrimp from the air fryer and serve hot. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for later use.
