For the Chicken:
- 4 small chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
For the Barbecue Sauce:
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the air fryer to 180C/350F. Grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Season the Chicken: Pat dry the chicken with a paper towel. Rub the salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder all over the chicken.
- Air Fry: Air fry the seasoned chicken for 8 minutes, flip, and cook for another 8 minutes.
- Add Barbecue Sauce: Remove the chicken from the air fryer basket and cover generously in barbecue sauce. Return the chicken to the air fryer and cook for another 2 minutes.
Notes
- TO STORE: Allow the chicken to cool down completely before refrigerating it in an air-tight container for 3-4 days.
- TO FREEZE: Store leftover BBQ chicken in a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 2 months.
- TO REHEAT: Thaw frozen BBQ chicken in the fridge and warm in the air fryer until heated through.
