Description

This Air Fryer BBQ Chicken recipe is a quick and easy way to enjoy flavorful, juicy chicken with a delicious barbecue glaze. The air frying method ensures a crispy exterior while keeping the meat tender and moist inside.

For the Chicken:

  • 4 small chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

For the Barbecue Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the air fryer to 180C/350F. Grease the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  2. Season the Chicken: Pat dry the chicken with a paper towel. Rub the salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder all over the chicken.
  3. Air Fry: Air fry the seasoned chicken for 8 minutes, flip, and cook for another 8 minutes.
  4. Add Barbecue Sauce: Remove the chicken from the air fryer basket and cover generously in barbecue sauce. Return the chicken to the air fryer and cook for another 2 minutes.

Notes

  • TO STORE: Allow the chicken to cool down completely before refrigerating it in an air-tight container for 3-4 days.
  • TO FREEZE: Store leftover BBQ chicken in a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 2 months.
  • TO REHEAT: Thaw frozen BBQ chicken in the fridge and warm in the air fryer until heated through.
